5.Adoptingadvanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Rooms Departmentand hospitality profession, including experiential knowledge for management ofpeople and problems.

6.Assisting theDirector of Rooms in formulating the annual budget, consolidating forecastsfiles from all sections and overseeing monetary budget spending.

7.Showingthe ability to negotiate with, convince, sell and influence local hospitalityvendors / suppliers.

8.Takingan active role in the achievement of departmental goals and objectives. Toresearch, prepare and consolidate data for management consideration andpresentation.
